FISH MANGO CURRY






INGREDIENTS

Sardines
- 1/2 kg
Raw mango - 1/4 kg
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmericpowder
- 1/4 tsp
Corianderpowder
- 1/4 tsp
Shallots(Kunjulli) - 6 nos(sliced)
Ginger
- 1 piece(chopped)
Garlic
- 4 cloves(chopped)
Greenchillies
- 3 nos(chopped)
Fenugreek(Uluva) - 1/4 tsp
Curryleaves
- Few
Cocum(Kudampuli) - 4 nos
Dry red chillies - 2 nos
Salt
- As reqd
Oil
- As reqd

DIRECTIONS

Step 1. For preparing fish mango curry, first cut raw mango into medium sized pieces. Keep it aside.
Step 2. Clean, wash and drain well the fish pieces.
Step 3. Heat oil in a kadai, add fenugreek, dry red chillies, shallots, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute well until golden brown in color.
Step 4. Add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and saute well in a low flame.
Step 5. Add 1 cup water and let it boil. Add washed kudampuli to it. Add mango pieces and cook well.
Step 6. Add fish pieces to it, cover it with a lid and cook well. Serve hot with rice.
